The market is aggressively moving new territory. Today is the last day trading in 2013. I just started trading in December with small amount of money and different strategies. Its look like i missed the boat since the market already high and most of the stocks also moving too high. The risk also very high. Maybe the bullishness will be over after CNY. So, we have to be careful when trading at this stage. What i plan is to reduce shareholding after CNY ann slowly keep cash.
Benalec was moving yesterday but was short lived. I have been caught off guard yesterday. Today, the pattern is similar trend. Pump and dump. Manage to clear some and buy back at lower price. The support is there but the bull stales are selling the shares. I will keep the shares till my target achieved.
BREM also hot today. I buy some and burned. Haha. Manage to heal the burn. Never learn from old mistakes.
Other 2 stocks, slowly inching up....wait to sell when the price is right. Whooa...i have to manage my patient. Always lose patient when looking at the monitor. I can't control emotion and greediness.....
Resolution for 2014
1. The main is REDUCE CREDIT CARD DEBTS
2. Increase saving
3. Learning more in investing
4. Always motivated to progress.

Be contrarian buy Benalec
Today i buy 10 lot of stock Benalec. Haha. I just want to be contrarian. I buy at 86.5 cent but it closed at 85 cents. If we look at the chart, Benalec has formed double bottom. But the selling is not over yet. I have wait next week if the price stabilised. If not i will let go till the bottom is confirmed.
Yesterday i also bought another 10 lot of share YYYY but there is still no activity. The other share slowly moving. I will keep till achieved my target. Nowadays, i feel scare to trade because of afraid loss money. If possible i dont want to repeat my old mistake. But the market always unpredictable. I have to see long term and not short term gain.

I bought 10K shares of TNLogis before Christmas and today it shoot up. Haha. I trade with the same old style. How to change aaa?? Morning i have sold all at 1.37 and made it with small profit. The share closed at 1.41. Haha. Same old story. Too scare and impatient to take profit. No goal!!!
But i still keep it the other 2 stocks even one stock in negative. This is the mentality of small investor, when profit fast sell, when loss keep it and hoping to get profit. Hope mentality!!!!

Review my stock
My 2 stocks
1. XXXX - down after dividend. But have to wait for rebound. May be add some more. Still in the loss.
2. YYYYY- up little by little. Recovery in the making. In the profit right now.
If we look at the KLSE chart, we are in the new territory and the risk will be high. So trading at the current market condition looks more riskier than before. Anything can happen in the market. When we happy with our profit, then suddenly the market crashed down and wipe out all our profit. Cautious with investment when everybody happy with record breaking KLSE.

Last day in Tokyo
So tired walking and rushing to go to interesting places in Tokyo for this few days. However, I feel so enjoy and happy to see other people and country. So discipline, respect people and very efficient public transportation.
Today is my last day in Tokyo and I'm looking for souveniers but the price a bit expensive compared in Malaysia. The cost of living is expensive but if you know to cut cost then the cost will be less.
Now, I'm on the way to Akihibara...see u later.

Reducing debt
Now is December. So far my debt reducing and restructuring is moving smoothly as what I plan. The most taxing my income is house loan and car loan. Both has been cleared. The other most important debt is credit card. Some are buying with zero interest installment and personal loan from credit card. The longest is from Citibank as long as 36 months and the highest from Hong Leong Bank almost 120k. Most the loan from HLB is to settle another loan or balance from other bank which charge the highest interest. My wife credit card also has some balance that need to settle..
Recently I have bought SSP about 3000 and hoping to win 1 million ringgit. Other benefits are got dividen and got extra free 60 numbers..Dream on!!!! I pray to God I will win something.
I also save some money in BIMB Account and also hoping to win 1 million ringgit as the grand prize. Dream on!!! Never try never know. Haha...Sambil menyelam sambil minum air like in Malay proverb.
I feel abit relieved because I can save some money and buying shares.
At the end of December ...most probably I got some bonuses. I hope so. So the money can be use to clear the debts and do some saving.
Now I feel a bit relieved

added new stock in my portfolio
Yesterday I have bought 5 lots new share with follow the same strategy. So the price is not much volatile and I have peace of mind. The new share is still not moving. The target is about 10% first. Don't be too greedy and hurry. The problem with my attitude that always want fast profit and lack of patients. The other problem is sell to fast when in money and sell too slow when in loss.

Mistakes in life
I have done so money mistake in life especially toward to financial planning. Of course everybody have their own mistake but the most important is how we correct those mistake. Journey toward to finacial freedom is not easy if you come from poor family. Everything have to start from A to Z.
The mistakes that i have done are
1. To join vacation club. Not one but two. The first one in Berjaya Vacation Club that charged me RM 18000 but now the price is about RM50000. But to sell back is not easy. Who want to buy this club when you can get cheaper price if you buy groupon or other deals. But i can get back the money if i keep it for 28 years. Whooo so long. The other club is Legend Worldwide Holiday(LWH) which is cheaper but you cannot get the money back. Actually, this vacation is good if you dont have school children. The reason is you can book the hotel during non school holiday easily.
2. Not buying hen the price is cheap
3. Not buying the gold when the price is cheap
4. Massive loss in stock market. Due to greediness and no knowledge what is the stick market.
5. Join in and out buying insurance . At the end you have no insurance when youre sick.
6. Too much interest in gadget and IT products. Depreciate in value easily.

Busy week ahead
So fast time running and now i realized that i last updated my blog about 1 week ago. What topic to write?? Our daily life is almost the same. Monday to Saturday is working day and Sunday is our rest day. Sometimes, we have to go to some talk and program to fill up the time. For the next time 2 weeks, i will be busy with the program and my rest time will be less. Hahaa...so difficult to leave my comfort to rest at home when off.
My unifi again make problem... call Unifi technician and will be charged RM50. So much money..but i don' know how to repair it. The optic cable is a bit difficult to handle compare with normal phone cable. This is the 2nd time problem. No Unifi is like to stay in the cave.. See how technology have changed our life.
Preparation to Tokyo is almost done... only not yet booking Disneyland Ticket. Thinking to buy online or to buy in Tokyo.

Monday...boring day
Yupp..Monday is a boring day. Some people say its Monday blues. Feel lazy to work because of Sunday off. No plan for today maybe i'm going to Tesco to buy things to bring to Tokyo. The cost is expensive in Tokyo if compare to Malaysia. As a Muslim, not many halal restaurant/ food i can eat there. So better to prepare from here.
So far my preparation to Tokyo almost complete. Just to plan where to go and buy ticket online for certain place like Disneyland. I'm not expected heavy snow when i'm going there in December. So the winter clothes is enough at the moment. If the situation different, so i will buy in Tokyo.
Stock market --attention more to IT related stock. due to GST like GHLsys and Insas. So we see how high they can go.

Happy Deepavali
Today is Deepavali Day. Public holiday but i have to go to work.. Normally i will be off on Public Holiday. But today I have to go to work because most of the colleague are Indian. So they have to go for Deepavali back home.
Now we are in November. Another 2 months more to go to 2014. So fast time running. Our age also catching up with time. When we are younger we can work long hours . Now, our working time have to reduce to make ourselves less stress and relax.
My concern now is my debts. Keep increasing and increasing. How is the best way to cut down the spending? We tend to buy thing if we go to shopping complex. So the best way to save budget is don't go to shopping complex but going to garden or stay at home only. The idea to stay at home is not suitable to all people because some people like to see outside and don't want stucked in the house without doing nothing.
Looking for house job is another way to cut spending and increase our income.. What job to do??

Shopping things for holiday also make my debt increasing. I'm still waiting the overtime money and incentives money that i have not received since Jun and March respectively. At least i can use that money to pare down my debts.
Anyway, i manage to settle all my credit card min balance. Some i paid full payment. I hope i can get that money soon. So i can pay all to reduce my debts. Where can i looking more money ??? Thinking??

Looking for winter cloth
I have already plan to go to Tokyo on this December with all my family. So far, ticket already booked, hotel also already booked but the cloth hasn't been bought yet. So I plan to buy some winter clothes since December is considered a winter season in Japan. I'm not sure how low is the temperature since this is first time I'm going there. Better prepare from Malaysia. Some more I'm the people who can tolerate cold weather.
I have been to the shop that sell winter cloth but the cost is quite expensive. Even though they give discount, but the price still expensive. Now, i'm still looking where i can get cheaper price either online or shop.

30 Life Lessons from Joel Neoh, Malaysia High Achieving Entrepreneur
TEOH CHON GIAP OCTOBER 17, 2013
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Joel Neoh, the High Achiever Entrepreneur & the GROUPON Head of Asia Pacific wrote a note on the “30 Lessons that he has learned in 30 Years”!
Joel Neoh was 19, about to turn 20, when he turned on the television to be greeted by Oprah, his mother’s favourite TV programme. Oprah was interviewing the cast of Desperate Housewives, and asked Marcia Cross: “If you could go back in time and tell your 20-year-old self anything, what would it be?”
Marcia responded: “Stop worrying. Be comfortable living in uncertainty.”
Looking back at his 30 years of life, Joel Neoh has summarized 30 simple yet important lessons that he learned – about being a better entrepreneur and person.
1. Be comfortable living in uncertainty.
Marcia was right. We can never know what will happen to us next. We can try to control the uncontrollable by looking for security and predictability, always hoping to be comfortable and safe. But the truth is that we can never avoid uncertainty. This not-knowing is part of life’s adventure. The only thing constant in life is change. Embrace it and you’ll be in for a fun ride.
2. Love what you do.
Don’t ever stop growing, learning, loving, doing & living. Find your niche. Find out what you’re truly passionate about.
3. Embrace your fears.
At 21 years old, Joel Neoh won #1 in the National Men’s Open Rock Climbing Competition. At the post-competition interview, a journalist asked him why and how he started rock climbing: “I started because I was afraid of heights. I once read that most elite athletes feel fear just like everyone else, but they channel that fear to fuel their spirit and passion for competition.”
4. Have fun.
Nothing in life is worth doing unless you’re having fun doing it.

At one of those super-crazy-fun Groupon parties with one of my favorite people in the world.
5. Care.
People don’t care how much we know until they know how much we care.
6. Surround yourself with people who are smarter.
In sports, the only way to grow is to play against stronger competition. In business, hang out with smarter people. It can be intimidating, but always try to be the dumbest person in the room.
7. Creativity is not difficult.
Creativity is just about connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while. That’s because they were able to connect experiences they’ve had and synthesize new things. And the reason they were able to do that was that they’ve had more experiences or they have thought more about their experiences than other people.
8. Allow our good to emerge.
We do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness that is already within us and allowing that goodness to emerge.
9. Happiness is not a goal but a way of life.
People that surrounds us have a high influence on our happiness levels. Fire negative people out of your life.
10. Don’t let failure hold you back.
Michael Jordan once said: “I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed.”
11. Stop insanity.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Learn from mistakes, don’t keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.
12. Just do it.
Years from now we will be more disappointed by the things that we didn’t do than by the ones we did do.
13. Never too young to dream big.
Every great dream begins with a dreamer. The earlier you start, the harder you work when you’re younger, the easier life is when you’re older.

Receiving the Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year 2012.
14. Stay hungry.
Often, the only advantage we have when we are young is hunger. The hunger to succeed. Don’t ever lose that.
15. Life is too short to live someone elses’ dream.
We are only going to live life once. If you aren’t following what you love, then what are you doing? Our parents may have once told us that we have to be in either one of these four professions: doctor, engineer, lawyer or accountant. Life is more than a job. You don’t want to live a life where you go to a job every day just so you can enjoy your weekends and get two weeks of vacation every year.
16. Life is too short to work at a boring company.
The best thing about being an entrepreneur is the ability to influence, design and build a great organization culture and a cool office space for the team. A great place to work attracts the best talent. Privileged to have co-founded 2 out of top 3 coolest offices you’d want to work at in Malaysia: http://www.femalemag.com.my/features/work/coolest-offices-youd-want-work-malaysia
17. Be curious.
The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.
18. Birthdays are best to reflect.
Some spend their birthdays drinking, partying to forget the past, the failures. However, birthdays are great moments to reflect the year that has past – to identify improvements and learnings, towards being a better person for the future.
19. We are the change we seek.
Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. Be a positive change agent today.
20. Don’t let others dictate you.
Often, it’s those individuals that contributes very little to our lives, that dictates our emotions. Stop letting people who do so little for you control so much of your mind, feelings and emotions.
21. Ask the right questions.
The right questions can ignite innovation, solve problems, create powerful partnerships and help us live a better life.
22. Do one thing right.
When things aren’t going our way, remember – if we can do just 1 thing right, then everything can start to move in the right direction again.
23. Live the moment.
If today was the last day of your life, would you want to do what you are about to do today?
We are always waiting for something: for it to be the weekend, to be finished with school, till we are 21, to get a new job, qualify for a promotion, save enough money, etc…and what’s sad is we miss every beautiful moment in the ‘present’ because we spend our whole lives waiting for tomorrow and for the future. We end up skipping our whole lives and one day we will spend our last day waiting on a tomorrow that will never come. Don’t live in your past or your future. Live today. It’s all we really have. Live everyday as if it were your last. Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It is about learning to dance in the rain.
24. Pay off bad debts.
Some debt is good for building credit, minimizing risk and so on. But there are some debts that weigh most people down from truly following their passion and living an amazing life. Pay off the debts that weigh you down as it’s an amazing feeling once you do.
25. Invest in buying assets.
Broke people spend all income on expenses. The Middle class spends income on expenses and purchasing liabilities. The Rich invests income into buying assets, which in return generates even more income. Assets: property (that generates rental yield), stocks (that pays dividend), bonds, etc.
26. Invest in yourself.
It took awhile before Joel Neoh realized that he should invest in himself, that he should put his personal development first. Here is a few ways to start thinking and investing in your most valuable asset – yourself: Find your Why, Discover your strengths, Read a great book, Enrol in further education, Start a good habit.
27. Be happy with nothing.
You can either be angry for what you don’t have or be thankful for what you do have. Happiness is not having more of what you want, but wanting more of what you have.
28. Be humble.
Have a teachable spirit. Allow others to correct you and tell you about yourself. Correction doesn’t feel good, but it’s necessary for growth. It’s something he continues to work on because having an ego never did anything positive for me and usually doesn’t accomplish much for anyone. Arrogance makes a person power hungry – humility makes one a better leader.
29. You don’t need everyone to like you.
We all want to be loved. But you can’t value every relationship the same, and thus you can’t expect everyone to love you the same. Life doesn’t work that way. Think about this: “When people don’t like you, nothing actually happens. The world does not end. You don’t feel them breathing down your neck. In fact, the more you ignore them and just go about your business, the better off you are.”
30. Don’t ever let somebody tell you…you can’t do something. Not even me.
All right? You got a dream… You gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.

Post Raya- Car Problem
On last Wednesday, I planned to go to bank for loan settlement and when i drove my car, i felt something strange and stopped at the roadside to look for what's wrong. Then i realized my car tyre was flat and i have to drive to workshop nearby. Upon checking, there was a lot of air holes at the side of tyre. So the mechanic suggest to change the whole 4 tyres since the other tyre also had same crack mark. Since i always use the car and drive quite aggressive, so better to change than sorry later. Actually, the front tire is from Silverstone which was changed before and the rear from the Korean (fitted since i bought the car) almost
3 years.
The brand i bought is Pirelli 1 which cost my wallet almost 2K+...So far i use the pirelli is quite good and reliable. I use that tyre with another car.
This the problem with the car, need maintenance and sometimes a lot money. The other thing its happen when you plan to save money. That's why we should have one account for emergency purpose budget. I just plan to save, but have to spend more this month with my banker..Hhaha..

The market has been recovered well from the problem in Amerika. So, the other market will follow the process of recovery. How long,we are not so sure. So, we still have to be cautious for investing.

Reality in Malaysia

Malaysians don't save enough to see them through their retirement years
MICHAEL Leong, 54, has been a self-employed mechanic for the past 20 years. Having raised three children up to university level, setting aside some savings for retirement has been a challenge. “Being self-employed, I’m not eligible to be a member of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) which provides retirement benefits for its members,” he tells StarBizWeek. Leong adds that one of the drawbacks of working as a mechanic is that he’s exposed to a “not so conducive environment” on a daily basis. “It’s not the best working environment. Vehicle exhaust fumes, dusty elements and long working hours over the last two decades-plus has taken its toll. On days that you are sick and can’t work, you don’t make money and medication isn’t exactly cheap. “My children have all grown up, live overseas and have families of their own. I don’t want to rely on them, and neither do I want to bother them,” he says.
Meanwhile, M. Devi, 57, a retired nurse who used to work with a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur, is currently working with a clinic near her house to support her four children, who are still schooling. Devi, now a single mother, married late. Given that her children are still schooling, she realised quite soon after retiring from the private sector that her savings under her EPF won’t be enough to sustain her into her retirement years. “My oldest child is in college while my youngest is in primary school. I need to continue working a while more to see my children through college,” Devi says. She knows of the private retirement scheme (PRS) and wishes that it was available sooner. “If the PRS was made available when I was still working, I probably would have invested in it to help supplement my EPF savings.” According to the EPF’s annual report for 2011, the average savings for active members at the age of 54 stood at RM149,216. Meanwhile, the average savings in EPF for inactive members is RM23,389. Are we saving enough? Despite the fact that Malaysians are earning more currently, their capacity to save has not improved and many are still not prepared for retirement, say wealth advisors. “People are saving their money. However, many are still not prepared for retirement,” says MyFP Services Sdn Bhd managing director Robert Foo. “Many rely on their savings that they have in their fixed deposit account or returns from their unit trust investment. But sometimes, these things aren’t enough to sustain you through your retirement years.”Foo says many people just don’t plan for retirement. “They need to realise early on that once they retire, they need to prepare for a reduction in income.
Once that happens, they need to determine if they can continue to earn money – perhaps continue working or start a business of their own?” Standard Financial Planner Sdn Bhd’s Jeremy Tan also concurs that many Malaysians are not prepared for retirement, adding that many individuals do not have enough in their EPF savings to sustain them into their retirement years. “On average, Malaysians have around RM100,000 in their EPF by the time they retire. If your lifestyle and expenses amount to RM5,000 a month, then that’s RM60,000 a year. How is the RM100,000 going to sustain you for the next 15 to 20 years?” He says accumulating health bills, home loans still pending, and children’s education fees are the top reasons why many retirees face problems sustaining themselves once they retire. “What these people need to do is create an investment portfolio for themselves so that it can generate different kinds of returns. If you just rely on your savings in your fixed deposit account, it will be eroded by inflation over time.” How much savings do we need The Private Pension Administrator Malaysia (PPA) chief executive officer Datuk Steve Ong feels that individuals need to take better care of their finances. The PRS provides an added security blanket for those saving towards their retirement. “It’s better to be safe than sorry,” he says. The rule of thumb is that a person needs at least two-thirds of their last drawn pay to continue with the current standard of living. Ong says one-third of a person’s salary should be put away now, in order to achieve two-thirds post retirement. If a person is employed, he has already set aside 23%-24% of his pay via employee and employer contribution to the EPF. “For example, if a person can put that 11% into any dedicated instrument that can generate 6% per annum, then by the time you retire you can draw down a good sum. This is the message of the PRS,” he says. Whitman Independent Advisors Sdn Bhd managing director Yap Ming Hui says individuals need to increase the amount they save every month to be able to be “comfortable” once they retire. “You should be saving at least 30% of your income every month.
On top of the 11% you contribute to your EPF, you need to save an additional 19%. Only then will you be in a comfortable position to retire.” Yap adds that individuals who are self-employed need to save at least 35% every month. “The earlier you save this amount in your career, the better.” Yap adds that the increase in retirement age within the private sector to 60 from 55 previously is a positive step. “With the increase, there is now more time for individuals to accumulate their savings. More working years also means shorter retirement years.” The retirement age for the private sector was increased from the current 55 to 60 under the Minimum Retirement Age Act, which was passed in June and gazetted in August last year.
It came into force last month. The PRS Fortunately for Leong and Devi, they have the opportunity to take up the PRS, a voluntary long-term investment scheme designed to assist individuals to accumulate savings for retirement. The PRS framework resulted from recommendations made by the Securities Commission (SC) to the Government to accelerate development of the private pension industry in Malaysia. It forms the third pillar of Malaysia’s multi-pillar pension framework after the civil servants pension fund and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). Ong says the PRS gives contributors added security for their retirement years. As the country moves towards achieving high-income nation status by the year 2020, Ong adds that it is also important to have a high savings rate. “By 2020, 10% of the nation’s population would be aged 60 and above, representing some 3 million people,” he says. The PPA was approved by the SC and set up in July last year to administer, oversee and promote the PRS industry. The PPA functions as a record keeping and resource centre for data on all transactions performed by contributors. It will facilitate transactions and promote efficient administration. Ong warns that one risks falling into old age poverty if no preparation is done to secure the retirement years. “If you’re young but poor, it’s alright, as you can still do something about it. But when you’re old, you may not be as healthy and not be able to do something about it,” he says. The Government first proposed the PRS under the Capital Market Masterplan 2 to complement the mandatory retirement scheme that is the EPF.
The PRS also acts as an alternative mechanism to increase voluntary savings. The scheme is open to all individuals aged 18 and above, regardless of their employment structure. Because participation in the PRS is voluntary, it is targeted at all segments of the population, especially the employed and self-employed who have a disposable income. For individuals already contributing to the EPF, the PRS acts as an additional and complementary avenue to save, while for people like Leong, the scheme is to ensure that they save for their golden age. Out of the 38 unit trust fund providers, only eight were approved for the PRS. Among them are AmInvestment Management, American International Assurance, CIMB-Principal Asset Management, Hwang Investment Management, Kenanga Investors Bhd, Manulife Unit Trust, Public Mutual, and RHB Investment Management.
Participants or contributors to the PRS have the option of contributing to more than one fund under a PRS or contributing to more than one PRS, offered by the different PRS providers. The SC regulates and supervises all intermediaries in the PRS industry, namely the PRS providers, the PPA, the scheme trustees and distributors of PRS. This is to ensure that it functions in a proper manner as well as to protect members. Each PRS will include a range of retirement funds, allowing individuals to select based on their own retirement needs, goals and risk appetite. A default option is available for individuals who are unsure of which funds to invest in. The default option pairs individuals with the appropriate fund for their age, whether it is a growth fund, moderate fund or conservative fund.

Buying a new car is a good investment or bad thing todo ?? I think it is a bad investment since the car value always depreciated with time even you buy today, the price already down if you sell it tomorrow. So what is the best option if you want to buy a car. Maybe we can look at the 2nd hand car.
The reason is
The reason is
- Cheap price
- Less depreciate in value
Disadvantage.
- Maintenance cost
- Condition of the car

Monday.. happy working
Monday is a blues day to some people after weekend off day. So nice stay at home with family and doing some house chores that cannot be done during normal day. Yesterday i had a shopping at Tesco and NSK which are my favourite place to go shopping. The reason is cheaper price with some coupon and discount voucher plus nearby to my house. Thats the way to save money. But sometimes we buy certain thing that is unnecessary. To avoid buying thing unnecessarily, its better to do some checklist before going to shopping.
My Unifi is down due to cable was eaten by mouse. So bad. So life without broadband internet like eat without salt in the food. Other operator like digi the speed is abit slow. So the speed is unreliable. I dont want to get another broadband after i stopped P1.
My plan to clear all my debt will take another 2 years to complete. So long... With the exception i reduce my monthly spending. So far so good. I have to control my wife since the lady always like shopping. Even for any function or celebration she want to buy new clothes!! That the problem with the lady. Like to show off for nothing..

The Meatball 2
Today is Saturday. I'm still working as usual and finish at 6pm. Some people Saturday is off day. So nice if I can have that off. Actually can but I have to reduce OT time. Less OT means less income. So bad after many years working I still need OT money.
Tonight, I will be going to cinema to watch Meatball 2 with my children. Just for fun and release tension. Sometimes, we need to release tension and get some fresh view outside from our home and workplace. Same for the children....study study only won't make you good. Life must balance between fun, leisure and work/ study. No point if we have a lot of money but no fun in life. Some more we don't know how long we can live in this world. Maximum maybe 70 to 100 if lucky. So, better make use our time and money in better way.

Budget.How poor are we??
How many of us have done the budget every month, daily or yearly?? Maybe not many. The reason is our salary money will be finished in just few days after the salary day. So, nothing to write or chart in our budget.
Spending is normally more than our salary especially when you live in Malaysia. Everything is expensive and our purchasing power keeps reducing every year. Our salary is almost stagnant with annual inrement could be around RM100 - 200 per year. How to survive like this....
My monthly budget as below. Even my wife expenses also I have to put in my budget because i have to pay for it. Poor man..

My monthly budget as below. Even my wife expenses also I have to put in my budget because i have to pay for it. Poor man..
- House loan - around RM1200 -- small house and affordable price ( now settled with EPF money)
- Car Loan - RM1550 - lucky buy with low interest ( almost settled)
- Another car loan RM 1200 - another 5 years to suffer
- Bill (TNB, Astro, Water, Unifi, HP prepaid) - RM1500
- Credit cards - the most expensive one (RM10000)
- Saving ----ZEROOOOO!!
See my budget...soo bad. Where can i get extra money?? Invest in stock...you need money. If you don't know how to manage your stock, your money will be gone. 80% traders loss money in share market. Remember this!!!

Last Day In September
Today is Monday. Last night, l had dinner with my family at The Johnny's Restaurant which specialized in steamboat cooking and other normal dinner. So much crowds and i have to wait for almost 3 minutes to be served. If i have business like this, for sure i will laughing all the way to bank every months. Food business is a good business in Malaysia but you food must be very delicious, tasty with fast and good services. That the key to success in business.
Today is last day in September and we have 3 more months to conclude this year 2013. So far what are we achieved in reaching our goal. For me, i already fulfilled and some in the process to achieve my goal.
1. To clear house loan - achieved
2. To finish car loan - in the process
3. To clear all the credit card debts - in the process
4. To limit my budget - in the process
5. To terminate P1 broadband - done
6. To terminate - Astro (Not yet)
Actually not many i achieved so far. But can be done slowly. When we create the goals, we have to try and struggle to achieve that. Sometimes, it is not easy. Plan easy but to make a plan as a success is NOT that easy.

Finally P1 terminated.
Finally, I can save some fund from P1 subscribing monthly fee. I planned for so long but today only I can make it. Great achievement !! Haha. It is not easy to find time to go to Jalan Templer PJ to make the termination. But Friday is always my free day. But today is a bit easy going for me.
I have subscribed to P1 broadband for almost 3 years. So far the experience using p1 as mentioned below. I use package 149 per month with 30GB with speed max 4 megabytes per second. Also come with portable USB modem.

- Speed . - B
- Service - B
- Price - B
- Easy to use : B+
Overall ok but Unifi much better in term of speed and no limit. Also can watch TV. Free phone call to any TM line. That the reason I want to cut off P1. I have subscribed to Unifi since March this year. If I'm not mistaken. So the P1 I plan to cut from March but waiting waiting till today. Haha.. Normal people..not serious..
Next in the plan is to cut off Astro Beyond. Suck our money every month with the programme that we can watch free from internet. Further more with busy working and no time to watch, it's better only use computer or just watch from Unifi TV programme. From there I can save about 90 ringgit per month. One year almost RM 1000 can save. I have another Astro but basic package and I keep it in kitchen.
Our market today, I don't know because I don't see today... Maybe I look into it next week. Rest first.

EPF House Loan withdrawal approved
My house loan has been cleared by EPF with my own money. So my saving in EPF now down 100k. I have to use the available balance allocated forhouse loan can be used for investment. I plan to buy a quality and good stock for long term investment. No more buying speculative or junk stock like what i did last time. So i can sleep well and no need to monitor stock everyday.
The other option stock is dividen stock. So i have to seach and make some study which is the best.
Gold also a good investment. Maybe buying gold saving account. lets study first before buying because the gold price is related with USD. For easy to understand, if the gold price Increase but USD VS MYR lower then the selling price to bank still low. The other thing to look for is the spread between selling and buying roughly aboud RM 6 pergram.

Missed deadline for car loan !
This is what happen when your monthly commitment is more than your income. Furthermore, extra money from OT hasn't been remitted yet. So I have to get the money from other source to cover from this shortage. Borrow from my family...very unlikely. So borrow again from bank... Haha. That the main cause for deeper hole. You dig there to cover the hole here..
Managing money is not easy as what we see because we don't know the future. Sometimes, our car breakdown, some time electricity got problem and have to fit it. Minor repair, we can DIY. If big we have to call technician. So much money involve.
So far I have to services 2 car loans. One for myself and the other one for my wife. Haha....that's the Problem. The cost about RM 2600 already. Electricity and water bill about RM 200 to 300. Credit card is the most one RM8000. House loan about RM 1200. Lucky buy cheap and small house. If the cost price more than 300k maybe I have to pay RM 3 k per month.
Other thing is buying thing under 0% installment.. Under credit card but I count as separate thing.
Overall I need RM15k per month if I want so settle all within one to two years. Then become free from debts. Financial free!!!!!

Withdraw EPF Account 2 to settle house loan.
My plan to clear my house loan has been done last week at EPF office and just waiting for approval. So I can release some my cash commitment every month fir about RM 1200. Maybe can approve by another 1 month. Apart from that, the extra money can be used to settle credit card.
My next plan is to terminate my P1 wimax and astro under my wife name. So, I can save about *RM 230 permonth. I have planned so long ago but still I cannot terminate it.
Share market is still in bullish mode and not I expected..The war in Syria is no more an issue at this moment. So the market less worry about uncertainty. The gold market has more bearish with the price slowly down toward USD1300. The price look is very attractive to keep some some gold for long term investment.

Operation day
Today is my daughter operation day to repair her gum problem. She just 8 year old and she so scared to face this op. I have to take one day off to be with her. Sometimes, our child too much pampered and everything they want just by crying only.. So as parents we have to be patient.

Market will be correction again
The news is USA still considering to attack Syria with his partners. When the strike will begin, i dont know. So the market will react with selling the stock and buying other instruments. last night, Djia was open very positive but closed lower due to worry of possible strike i n Syria.
During this period the best stock to buy is penny stock due to speculative in nature and easy to manipulate by the shark. Fundamental stock is the best stock to accumulate when s pushing lower and wait for recovery

Market recovered??
DJIA closed in positive last night. This mean our KLSE will be closed in positive today. Hope so. Some people very happy when the market was battered down lately since we can buy quality stocks at lower price. The question is the recovery will be in short term only or just temporary hiccup. Time will tell. As long as USA not attacking Syria so the market will be stable. For my opinion still in bearish condition, the best thing to do is keep cash and slowly reduce holding if possible.

Another bloody day in KLSE
Mega Sale! Mega Sale! a lot of cheaper price you can get in the market. People are more fear and the bearish market in the making....Long time didn't see this kind of correction. For the brave can buy slowly and the price you can get cheaper later. The time will tell.

KLSE Mega Sale
Mega Sale...yes yes.. that's i'm waiting for some time. When there is mega sale , that the time we should buy more because the price is cheaper and the risk is lesser. But we have to select the good stock and not the speculative. I think the world market will be in correction for some time. Either to charge higher or down further. Time will tell...
Today, our market has recovered a bit. Wait and see next week. Its depend on world market. Please avoid the stock with big foreign shareholders and depend on USD.

MAS..privatisation??
Yesterday, shares were under attacked in the morning after comment from Dr M about privatisation. Unfortunately, this news was just a good news in the morning when Mr Najib said there was no plan for privatisation. The share dropped from the highest 40cent down to 36.5 cent. For those who bought share at 31 cent, will make some profit...

Raya Over, Spending Higher
The raya is over but our spending during raya have to be summed up to see how much we spend during that period. Apart from preparation for raya like new clothes, new shows and everything new, i have some moneyto give to certain people who qualified to receive that money like my parents, siblings and also my unties. Altogether almost 2K had been spent.
The thing now is how to get back that money that has been spent. Maybe through investment in the KLSE. What the best stock to invest?? How long our market can sustained the bullish sentiment.?
MAS - Malaysian Airline System.
This share has shown some activity yesterday after few week in the 30 to 31 cents zone. I willl monitor this stock for my own study. So far no positionn in this stock.

Take another cash loan
Today I had offer from HSBC for cash loan. I have no choice since my budget is quite tough and tight. If I didn't take the loan, some of my commitment to pay every month cannot be paid. So to resolve this problem I have to take this loan. I know the interest is a little bit high but cheaper than from card credit. What I want to settle also is card credit balance. Some of the my credit card will be charged at 17% and if I m not settle on time another 1% will be charged. I have to wait for my overtime money to come to clear some of outstanding balance. I like to clear with high interest first and followed by the lower balance. Salary just enough for certain payments.
If possible i don't want to take loan. But i have no cash to clear the remaining balance. No choice...The evil of debts. If we accumulate too much then the disaster is waiting to happen anytime if not manage properly.

Learn From Experience
Yes trading need experience to know which stock will pushed up to con new, inexperienced investor and greedy people. They will use all sort of news to jacked up the stock then when the target achieved, the stock will pushed down till you loss your pant if you didn't cut loss early. Normally the stock will be stagnant for few weeks the will be pushed again after the shark collected enough at low price and the con happened again. So beware when you trade this kind of stock " speculative".

how to upgrade the living standard
Living standard is related to your financial status. If millionaire, for sure his living standard is veryhigh compare to just normal earning people. For just enough for living is normally eating in warong and shopping in Tesco or Giant. For those high living standard is normally eating in comfort and nice place like lounge of the hotel and shopping in 5 star places like Pavillion.. just as example.
How to increase the living standard????
1..Start saving from small or when start working.
2. invest in high return investment like Share market or unit trust
3. invest in instrument that give passive income like housing and land for renting.

Despicable Me 2
Tonight, I will be watching Despicable Me 2 with my family. Hope the movie is full of excitements and fun to watch. The most important is the message behind the movie wants to bring to people. We work hard and we must use our hard money for fun and to release tension. But not every day. Actually u can watch free from Internet but the fun is not there like watching football game in TV and real live is totally different experience. Maybe u can try if u never tried.
Some people may be not agree with me with reason that I should use for other important thing than watching movie like attending talk. But in real life is to balance from stress and happy.

Water still in play
All water related stock still in play. Puncak share is pushed higher day by day. Normally for 3 days then selling will start. So we will see next week. Whoever bought the share all laughing all the way to bank. Other stock I don't monitor.. Just for my training for future only.
I'm still waiting when the market will crash. Soo long already. But the time will come.., hehe. So prepare the money to wallop all the share when cheap. Actually to make money in market is not so difficult but have to control greediness and emotion. Don't too confident and over trade. That the recipe for successful trading.

Saturday 29 June 2013
Nothing special today. Still doing the same routine. Working till 6pm...Start at 7am till 6pm that's 11 hours work. What to do if you choose the career or the life like this. After 6pm, going home, feel tired, rest and sleep..
I think if i'm proactive and energetic, maybe i can attend any seminar or course that can increase my knowledge or fill my free time..Jammed...long journey that the reason why i'm not attending the seminar or meeting... Lazy people!!
You can change if you want too...willing to spend time, sacrifice with family and stay away from comfort zone. Not many people willing to do that..

Control spending
How to control our spending?? Easier said than practice. The difficult part if your wife is shoppaholic.. I don't know the term in the dictionary or not...I think the best thing to do is cut off all your credit card and keep the cash enough for monthly shopping..

Haze and Monster University 3D
Haze become an annual affair. When the thing happen, all government will scramble and thinkto solve problems. Actually it can be done before its happen if the is strong punishment or eenforcement of law. So, we have to take precautions especially when living outside the house. The best is to use mask when stay outdoor. The problem is the mask also out of stock in some place..without rain the haze problem will stay longer.
Last night, I watched movie with my family in TGV. Monster University in 3D. So nice movie with good story and happy ending as always in any movies. But it's good for children to learn something from movie. For those who has not yet watch, can go to watch..

IPO Airasia X at 1.25
LUMPUR: AirAsia X Bhd has fixed its initial public offering (IPO) price at RM1.25 per share and have raised RM987.7mil from its share sale.
The IPO comprises 790.12mil ordinary shares, or 33% of AirAsia X's enlarged share capital, included the issuance of new shares.
Independent non-executive chairman Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz said the company have settled to price the shares at the low to mid-range to benefit investors.
“As the book was about 5 times covered at the top end of the range, we would have been able to comfortably price it at the initial RM1.45 per share,” she said.
Co-founder Tan Sri Tony Fernandes said the company had orders for two billion shares at RM1.45 and had only 396 million shares available in the bookbuilding exercise.
“We want to see retail investors benefit from this IPO and this is the reason why we priced it at RM1.25. The success of AirAsia X is because of their support and we want to reward them,” he said.
Yes. The price was fixed at 1.25. So the price will have chance to go up.I hope so. But I don't how about my allocation. I hope I can get 3 lot.

Today I have attended and listen to the motivational talk by one speaker. Nice talk and informative. Good for the parents and student.
One question is what is the purpose of schooling?? A. Knowledge B. Wealth C Living. The answer is C..why?? For me knowledge is more important. Without knowledge how to survive.ok that what he said.
My daughter exam result is average. Not so excellent and not so bad.
Add some more comment about stock market..even though I m not trading any stock but I still follow the news and happening in KLSE. Today look like cheap sale.. maybe Malaysia Mega Sale. I think the market will going for correction due to no more QE by US. Furthermore the foreign investors keep selling the share..maybe Institutional investor also cannot stand and also selling. Be ready for bearish market.
Yeahh today is my birthday...for ? years.. keep secret. Butold already. I should be in retire phase if I save from small..but what to do self fulfillment is more important to me. Haha...I'm very bad attitude in saving. Biar papa Asal bergaya.

IPO Airasia X
Today is a last day for public to subcribe to Airasia x ipo. The offer price is RM 1.45 pershare. I have read few analysis in the blog and paper, so far the response is very encouraging. One of the research firm is expected the fair price is higher. So long I didn't subcribe to IPO due to the losses. Not all the IPO is good. Some IPOs will drop on the day of listing like Astro. So we have to be careful when subscribe to IPO.
For Airasia X if you subcribe more than 10 k shares, we can get 1 free ticket every year as long as we keep the shares. I jist subcribed only 3000 shares only because i'm not really sure the performance of share..so better to keep safe and minimal risk. I hope i can make money from ipo.. not sure get it or not..

Welcome back Monday
Yes today is Monday. So our routine will start again that mean working from 8 to 5pm till Saturday. Same old story. How to be independently working with more time at home?? Maybe u can try Internet business. Sound good.. What product to sell?? Electronic or food?? The best way to find out what is the best business to run, it's better to join seminar about Internet business to get input from the people who are already in this business.
Any business has pro and cons. Preparation is better done properly to avoid any loss or doing business half way. Bad for your pocket.
I'm still looking way to free myself from daily job. But what kind of job is suitable for me??? Think!!!!

Planning to Visit Tokyo Japan
Another planning to throw money for self and family pleasure in the making..What is life is we can't use our hard earned money. That the reason given by non smart people. People who smart will use the money to invest first and then use the profit for holiday. So the same money will be use again for investment.. That's smart people. Me ... Just talk and no action .. NATO...
I'm looking to get the hotel in Japan but most of the hotel is rather expensive and small room. Further more some of the hotel rules are nonsense... Above 3 years are considered adult already.. wth!!!
but I don't have choice..you want comfortable room you have book the pricey hotel..but still not decided. If I'm alone i don't care stay in cheap room but with family is rather difficult..first priority is comfortable, easy access to public transport and safe.
The money will be spend here is at least 3 K....whooa..so much money for budget traveller like me...
Not included other expenses like transportation, eating and fee for some fun..nobody force me and its my choice...so I'm non smart guy.

Shopping.. Shopping
So long i did not update this blog..Busy? No idea? or nothing to write..Maybe nothing to write after i have not trading in KLSE. So far, i'm still in trauma and can get over it. Maybe take some time to heal it. KLSE now in charging mode. I don' t know when it will stop..But we must follow the principle in tradiing, trend is your friend. Any trend will be a good friend if you know to handle it. However, most people will make more money in trending trend as comapred with downtrend. So, learn from your experience and past mistake to master the strategies.
Last 2 weeks was a school holiday in Malaysia. Unfortunately i could not anywhere since my wife has been working. So, my family and I just went to JJ and Sunway Lagoon only to cheer up my children. The worst part is I spent more money then planning to go for holidays itself. I have spend almost 10K for buying thing like massage chair and bought some ticket for holiday in overseas. Buying airplane ticket from low cost carrier like AA is not that cheap if you add on something from basic ticket prices. But still cheaper is compared with premium carrier. I plan to save money become throwing money for self pleasure. Haha...normal human being.

So long to update my blog
Haha... almost one month i do not update my blog. Nothing interesting to write or no ideas to write. Market KLSE still performing well even in the election time. Maybe EPF and fund manager supporting for the purpose of election but I didn't know.
There important events will be happen in this month
1. PRU13 -- which party to vote. For me it's PR. Give a chance and see what PR can do for all the people. PR better manage than BN as shown in Audit report.. Don't be fooled by BN who claim they are better. Yep they are better in corruption and mismanagement of our country with billions of money siphoned out.
I plan to start again trading in KLSE but waiting the election result first. At the moment i have to keep capital first.

When to invest?
A bit of my history in investing. I started invest when I was introduced by one of my colleague in 1999. So long already. I still remember the first stock I bought ie Pantai and Johor port. Now both of them are no more in the klse and taken private. Since I don't have enough experience so my strategy is keep and hold till I make profit. In investment term is buy and hold with medium and long term strategy and proves that can make money in this way.
I keep reading about investing and this strategy is not good enough even though I'm not losing money but the time frame is not practical in term of return. Let say you invest and get return 10 % in one month and the same 10% in one year. Which one is better?? For sure 10% in one month is better.
Then I buy more speculative stock and become more greedy. A lot of my decision to buy stock based on my emotion and not by fundamental and chasing the stock which is pushed up higher. Still remember one stock related with IT but lucky enough I can run away when it started to collapse(Ftec). now no more in the KLSE. Then I started losing money when mostly stocks started to crumble and I don't have enough capital to keep. Some I kept but still moving down and sold at loss. I don't count my actual loss but i think roughly more than 10K. Maybe little for some people but for me it's a lot at that time. Then i stop investing to find out what is wrong with my investing technique.
Greedy, emotion, lack of patient and lack of capital are the main cause for my failures in trading and investing.

Tired of working
So long i didn't update my blog..nothing much to write actually. Everyday live is like usual. Going to work, back home and eat then sleep. Weekend off also follow the same routine. Sleeping the whole day. Sometimes go for shopping.. So boring. What to do now? Unless you have tonnes of money in bank. You can go for holiday and see the other world.. Everywhere you go and can get the privilege and luxury due to money is no problem.
If possible I want to retire early but how much i need to save and keep in the bank. Maybe around 1 million should be enough. 1000000 divided by 30 years equal to 33333 per year and 2777 permonth. I think should be enough for simple lifestyle. Enough to eat and maintain my expenditures. But the problem is how much I have save every month for 5 years to keep for 1 million. Whoa is not easy task to do unless you win the lottery.
The main priority now is to clear all the debt and keep saving. But I don't like to live without any holidays and any entertainments. I still want to do those thing. So I need the discipline, frugal lifestyle and perseverance..
I wish I can retire early....

My goal : stop going to work
Every human being has different characters and personality. So, many people has to work to live and support the family. It's not easy task in this advanced world. The problem is started from the our early life. If we come from the poor family, so it's difficult job to be free from work too soon. The reason is we have to support our parents and also own family. The budget is always tight and will effect to our saving plan. Saving from early is the best option to retire early. But is't difficult.
If you can from rich family. I think we have not so much problem to retire early because some of our main thing can be fulfilled by your parents like buying house and car...Then you only support just your family only. So we can save more from early and can retire early if we have not made a lot of debts like credit card and so on.
My dream is to retire early but .....sigh... Is not possible at this moment...

January 2013
We are approaching end of January 13 and so fast time running. So how about with our plan and goal??? Have you made it done or still in the planning stage?? Achieving the target is not the easy task if you have the commitment and the will to do it. Everybody can plan but not all people can finish the job without any obstacles and resistant
What my plan...
1. Refinace the house....still not done. lazy to go to bank. Still thinking what is the best interest rate and option.
2. Cut down spending...i think i can cut down about 25% at the moment. Hope no more new big shoppig.
3. Credit card - to reduce the number of credit card. At the moment a bit difficult because of the outstanding amount. This can can be done slowly. On the list is CIMB credit card. Outstanding stilll about 5k++. not so much benefit holding this card. only get 2% for petrol at Petronas. Better use of UOB card that can give rebate about 5%.

Tips on preparing your retirement plan
How old are you now?? Maybe 30's, 40's or 50's. When you plan to retire? Depend on several factors.
The factors are
The factors are
- Reach the retirement age
- Unable to work due to illness or disability
- Early retirement due to have achieve financial freedom
- Force to retire - very bad
For detail to plan to retire you can go to here
This is copy from the star
Lynette Lim
This is copy from the star
Will your golden years be golden? “O Time, Time! Wherefore art thou?” Is this going to be the lament in your golden years? How often have we ignored or dismissed the advice of our parents to save for our old age? Do not delay the preparations towards a secure retirement, advises Lynette Lim
LET us look at the research conducted by The TransAmericaCenter for Retirement Studies, which found that a delay of just two years in starting to save for your retirement shaves off a remarkable 15% of your retirement nest egg over the life of an average career. An illustration drives home the point further.
Joe starts saving RM5,000 a year for his retirement nest egg at 28, whereas Jane starts at 30. Assuming they both make 7% return on their savings, at 65, Joe will have RM801,687 while Jane will only have RM691,184!
Their studies have also emphasised that not only are many largely unprepared for retirement, but that relatively few have a back-up plan in the event they are forced into retirement earlier than planned.
What then can you do to increase your confidence in having economic security in your golden years? Don't just worry about your financial future, take action to rebuild some measure of a secure retirement. Increase your level of preparedness by taking an interest in your finances. Take the following steps:
■ Start a saving habit
■ Increase your financial literacy with easy to understand educational material, talk about it to raise awareness
■ Set goals; determine how much you need
■ Take decisive measures and strategise
■ Seek advice from professionals
Learn to take on more risk with investments, as leaving all your money in cash will not help in combating the ravaging impact of inflation in the long term. Learn about the power of compounding, diversification, asset allocation; building up an investment portfolio.
Most of all, start when time is your ally, not your foe; decide to put aside a fixed percentage of your income towards your retirement nest egg to prevent having to resort to catch up contributions at a later stage.
It is now or never, as the song goes. My advice is START NOW!

Stay focus to achieve financial freedom
So many thing have to be done in order to be in financial free from any commitment and obligations every month. For the young people who just started working, the most common debt is car loan and house loan. With just completed the study in university for sure you have taken loan from PTPTN. So you also have to service this loan. From this commitment alone cost you about 2000 plus..so if you salary just below 2k, so you have work extra like doing part time.
If you married already then your burden might be less because you can share the payment with your wife.
For me, I have to service like car loan, house loan, credit card, utility bills, and also some insurance and club yearly maintenance fee. Altogether I think I have to pay more than 5k monthly. But surely it will reduce when the time goes. But the problem is the urge for the new thing when you finished service the loan.

Target for this year
My first priority is to clear all my debt. That means I have to spending less and do more saving. I plan to clear all credit card debts one by one till all fully paid. The highest debt is from Hong Leong bank and followed by Citibank. This is not easy job since the debt is over 100k. If I pay monthly 10k so I need about 1 year to clear.
Apart from the credit card , I have to pay car loan and house loan. My car loan will be finished in Oct this year. So I save about RM 1550 per month. Citibank loan will be finished in May 2013. I will save about 1800 per month. P1 monthly payment contract will be expired in March and I save about 149 per month. My Astro is not cut yet? Waste about 45 per month.
The other most important thing to do is to refinance my house. I can save about 4 % per month for the interest rate. Should do in this year. Next Friday I will go to RHB bank. I have to search which bank offer the best rate for refinance.
Whoa...not easy task to do..planning is the best way to save and get more freedom from all this hell.
Free From debt is like free from stress. So FINANCIAL FREEDOM.
